Lead Software QA Automation Engineer

Arcanys is seeking a seasoned Lead Software QA Automation Engineer to spearhead our Quality Assurance department and drive excellence in software delivery. This is a strategic leadership role for an expert with extensive experience in shaping QA strategies, mastering automation, and nurturing high-performing teams within a dynamic, growing organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA professionals while fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Define and implement robust test automation strategies and frameworks using cutting-edge tools to enhance efficiency.
• Act as the primary point of contact for QA matters, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Establish, monitor, and refine QA processes and methodologies to ensure optimal effectiveness across all projects.
• Design and implement comprehensive training paths to support the career progression of team members.

Requirements

• 15-20 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, with a significant background in leadership roles.
• Demonstrable mastery of test automation principles and frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress.
• Proven ability to architect and scale automation solutions while managing complex testing environments.
• Deep understanding of various testing methodologies, types, and levels within the software development lifecycle.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
