Lead Software Engineer (AI / GenAI)

P&P Solutions is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to take technical ownership of a product squad focused on developing production-grade AI solutions for the FinTech sector. You will act as a technical co-leader, driving architectural decisions and hands-on development while mentoring team members to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant GenAI products.

Key responsibilities

• Setting the technical direction of the squad and owning architectural decisions.
• Designing and delivering production-grade LLM, RAG, and agentic AI solutions.
• Developing across the full stack using Python, Node.js, React, and AWS.
• Designing serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Mentoring engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and day-to-day collaboration.
• Ensuring that delivered solutions are secure, auditable, and compliant-by-design.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including building and operating AI/ML systems in production.
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, including leading squads and setting technical direction.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering LLM workflows, RAG pipelines, and agentic AI features.
• Deep expertise in Python or Node.js, with solid working knowledge of the other.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS using serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Strong English communication skills at a C1 level.
