Lead Software Engineer - AI Engineering

RTB House is a global leader in marketing technologies, utilizing proprietary Deep Learning algorithms to power its ad-buying engine. We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to head our AI Engineering Lab, focusing on pioneering innovation and enhancing engineering productivity through Agentic AI.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Design and develop distributed systems and internal productivity tools, making strategic build-versus-buy decisions.
• Spearhead the integration of Agentic AI, LLMs, and Model Context Protocols to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, ensuring that deployed solutions are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
• Collaborate with product and engineering managers to align technical innovations with company strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in building and operating complex, large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven technical leadership experience, including defining roadmaps and mentoring engineering teams.
• High proficiency in Python, with additional experience in languages such as Java, Go, or TypeScript.
• Strong ability to evaluate third-party tools and frameworks to solve problems efficiently.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production applications and familiarity with MLOps practices.
