Lead QA Engineer

Strattmont is a forward-thinking company building blockchain infrastructure that enables businesses to create wallets and launch on-chain products through intuitive APIs. We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to join our team as the first dedicated quality lead, taking full ownership of testing strategies and release quality across our entire platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the QA function end-to-end, including defining test strategies, coverage priorities, and quality standards across all products.
• Build robust test automation frameworks from scratch using modern tools like Playwright and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage AI as a core component of the quality toolchain for test generation, risk analysis, and pull request evaluation.
• Define regression baselines, manage release candidates, and provide final go/no-go recommendations for production deployments.
• Collaborate with tech leads and product management to embed quality practices directly into the feature design and development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software testing and automation, with a proven track record of leading QA functions or product-level quality initiatives.
• Strong engineering proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and experience with modern automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI into quality workflows to multiply coverage and efficiency.
• Solid background in API testing and backend service validation beyond UI-based testing.
• Ability to operate with minimal direction, defining quality standards and executing plans independently in a distributed environment.
