Lead Python Developer in the EU

Andersen is seeking a Lead Python Developer to join a project focused on developing a scalable GRC SaaS platform. You will play a pivotal role in delivering reliable compliance and risk management solutions for large enterprises and public sector organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Leading architectural decisions for the schema-driven application layer in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Driving the concept phase, including prototyping, validating architectural approaches, and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
• Acting as the primary technical point of contact for the client and coordinating task allocation across the team.
• Reviewing the work of backend and full-stack engineers to ensure architectural consistency across modules.
• Defining and driving the contract-testing strategy while ensuring backward compatibility with legacy systems.

Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in backend engineering with a proven track record in lead roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework.
• Experience with complex relational data modeling, multi-tenant SaaS architectures, and RBAC systems.
• Strong architectural judgment and experience with automated testing practices using pytest.
• Upper-intermediate level of English or higher.
