Lead Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to join a retail technology project focused on product information and large-scale data processing, where you will combine hands-on backend development with technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices and event-driven solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Take ownership of the full delivery lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Drive technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and support other developers.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Practical knowledge of messaging technologies like Apache Kafka or Redpanda.
• Good experience with AWS, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Ability to combine technical leadership with hands-on development.
