Lead Hybrid QA Engineer

Sporty Group is seeking a Lead Hybrid QA Engineer to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of every release, acting as a key decision-maker in the launch process while leveraging your expertise in both manual and automated testing.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the testing lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Lead and mentor a talented team, fostering a collaborative culture and providing technical leadership.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API environments.
• Improve Continuous Integration pipelines and automate aspects of the software engineering process.
• Track product issues, analyze problems, and provide actionable feedback to relevant personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing, including 4+ years in a relevant role.
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position, including mentoring and performance management.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Appium.
• Solid understanding of various testing types, including unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, and API testing.
• Experience with web debugging tools, relational databases like MySQL, and CI/CD systems.
