Lead Hybrid QA Engineer (Europe only)

Sporty Group is seeking a Lead QA Engineer to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will take ownership of our quality assurance strategy, ensuring that every release meets our high standards while actively participating in the entire development lifecycle from requirements to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA strategy across web, mobile platforms, and APIs.
• Perform comprehensive testing, including black box, white box, integration, and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API environments.
• Mentor team members and identify opportunities to improve quality processes.
• Collaborate with developers to review designs and code, providing constructive feedback to ensure testability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with a focus on full-stack testing.
• Proven track record of leading QA teams or significant quality initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Appium.
• Solid understanding of various testing types, including unit, integration, regression, and stress testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and working knowledge of relational databases like MySQL.
