Lead Engineer (Node.js) – AdTech / RTB

BRAVER IT is looking for a Lead Engineer to join a Finnish AdTech company focused on building a programmatic advertising platform. You will work within a small, senior engineering team on backend systems where processing speed and millisecond-level decision-making are critical to business success.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale high-throughput, low-latency backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop real-time bidding flows, integrations, and performance-critical backend components.
• Design robust solutions for systems processing large volumes of concurrent requests.
• Optimize system latency, throughput, reliability, and resource usage.
• Investigate bottlenecks and production issues while taking ownership of architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven track record in building high-throughput, low-latency backend systems.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Experience with RTB, programmatic advertising, and IAB standards.
• Ability to make independent technical decisions and maintain production-grade APIs.
