Lead Engineer, BI

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive comprehensive BI strategies aligned with client business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of BI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable BI architectures.
• Design, implement, and optimize data models, ETL pipelines, and enterprise-level reporting solutions.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in business intelligence or data engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and modern ETL development.
• Extensive hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Deep understanding of cloud data platforms like AWS or Azure and data warehousing solutions.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale BI initiatives and influence technical strategy.
