Lead DevOps Engineer

Profitroom is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of our complex, distributed infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between software development and stable, scalable operations, ensuring our platforms remain highly automated, secure, and resilient.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with software development teams to support releases and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement automated infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain existing cloud infrastructure and virtual machine environments.
• Monitor the environment, analyze performance, and resolve technical issues.
• Proactively optimize infrastructure and processes using your knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, SysOps, or Linux administration within complex environments.
• Proven experience leading a team of engineers, including mentoring and setting technical direction.
• Proficiency in Linux (Rocky Linux) and Docker.
• Fluent in Kubernetes, Helm, and practical experience with GitOps tools like FluxCD.
• Strong skills in automation and configuration management using Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python, or Go.
• Fluency in Polish (C1) and good command of English (B2).
