Lead AI Engineer

Itransition is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to spearhead the design and development of end-to-end AI solutions, including sophisticated chatbots and agent workflows. In this role, you will collaborate directly with clients to architect tailored, LLM-powered applications that solve complex business challenges and drive innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Build, launch, and maintain full-cycle AI products from conception to production.
• Partner with customers to uncover their goals and propose LLM-powered solutions tailored to their specific business context.
• Create and maintain reliable data processing pipelines that ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and security of AI models.
• Monitor and optimize AI system performance, focusing on scalability, correctness, and compliance with relevant industry regulations.
• Conduct exploratory research and develop fast prototypes to test technical feasibility and demonstrate business value.

Requirements

• Advanced Python programming skills, including practical experience with web frameworks like FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of the full lifecycle involved in building and deploying AI-powered applications.
• Hands-on experience with leading LLM platforms and APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, and Gemini.
• Proficiency in ecosystem tools including LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and agent-based frameworks.
• Proven track record of successfully rolling out AI systems into production environments.
• Ability to assess generative AI output quality using retrieval metrics and LLM-based evaluation techniques.
