Lead Actuary – Pharmacy Pricing - REMOTE

Prime Therapeutics is a purpose-driven pharmacy benefit manager dedicated to connecting care for those we serve. We are seeking a Lead Actuary to join our team and help shape the future of pharmacy pricing through complex analysis and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on pharmacy pricing and rebate guarantees, collaborating with Underwriting, Clinical, Trade, and Sales teams.
• Lead the development, review, and delivery of complex pricing models, projections, and actuarial analyses.
• Provide strategic pricing guidance on formulary methodology and rebate structures based on market research and financial modeling.
• Present findings and actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients with confidence.
• Mentor and support junior actuarial staff through technical guidance and professional feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Finance.
• At least 8 years of actuarial experience, including 6 years within a healthcare organization or PBM.
• Professional actuarial designation (ASA or FSA).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of SAS, SQL, or VBA.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple complex priorities.
