Kubernetes & Security Specialist (Cilium & Service-to-Service Security)

Acaisoft is looking for a Kubernetes Security & Networking Specialist to join our team and help secure high-scale, AI-powered observability platforms. You will play a critical role in hardening complex, multi-tenant Kubernetes environments by implementing advanced network security and identity-based access controls.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain service-to-service security policies within production Kubernetes clusters using Cilium and eBPF-based solutions.
• Enforce zero-trust network policies, identity-based access control, and mTLS encryption across microservices.
• Harden EKS and Kubernetes cluster configurations while managing container security standards and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with security, platform, and architecture teams to integrate robust security gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex networking, CNI, and traffic isolation issues in regulated enterprise environments.

Requirements

• Strong track record in Kubernetes security, including RBAC, network policies, and cluster hardening.
• Deep experience with Cilium, Calico, Tigera, or Service Mesh technologies like Istio.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, IAM/IRSA, KMS, and VPC, alongside Terraform.
• Familiarity with OIDC/SSO, secrets management, image scanning, and compliance controls.
• Willingness to participate in pre-scheduled evening alignment calls with US-based teams.
