Kotlin Developer

emagine Polska is seeking a Senior Kotlin Backend Engineer to join their team, focusing on the development of robust authentication and wallet solutions. You will play a key role in building high-performance microservices while maintaining rigorous quality and security standards within a cloud-native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend microservices using Kotlin within a GCP cloud environment.
• Drive features independently from the initial technical design phase through to final deployment.
• Collaborate with peers to support authentication and wallet solutions, including handling urgent maintenance and system enhancements.
• Ensure high code quality, implement security best practices, and manage CI/CD pipelines effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of dedicated professional experience in backend Kotlin development.
• Hands-on expertise with Ktor or Spring Boot frameworks.
• Strong background in microservices architecture using GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Helm.
• Solid understanding of authentication flows and OAuth standards.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously and solve complex technical challenges.
