Kotlin Developer

emagine Polska is seeking a Senior Kotlin Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of robust authentication and wallet solutions. You will play a key role in building high-performance microservices while maintaining high standards of code quality and security in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend microservices using Kotlin within a GCP cloud environment.
• Drive features independently from the initial technical design phase through to final deployment.
• Collaborate with peers to support authentication and wallet solutions, including urgent maintenance and system enhancements.
• Ensure high code quality, security standards, and adherence to CI/CD best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated backend development experience using Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with Ktor or Spring Boot frameworks.
• Strong background in microservices architecture using GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Helm.
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins, and database management with PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of domain security, specifically OAuth and authentication flows.
• Senior-level autonomy with a proactive mindset toward problem-solving and technical ownership.
