JVM Tooling Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Developing and extending developer tooling, including IDE integrations and CI/CD systems.
• Analyzing complex performance issues, including memory and garbage collection profiling on the JVM.
• Collaborating with external teams to propose and implement effective technical solutions.
• Leveraging AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Maintaining high standards of software engineering through pragmatic problem-solving.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Java, Scala, or other JVM-based languages.
• Proven experience in debugging and profiling memory or GC issues within the JVM.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
• Experience in building and maintaining complex software systems.
