Junior DevOps Engineer (DevOps Team)

Sigma Software is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join their growing team of over 30 specialists. This role offers the opportunity to work on international projects while building hands-on experience with modern cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and maintain infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code implementation following established modules and review processes.
• Support CI/CD pipeline configuration, maintenance, and deployment activities.
• Investigate incidents by collecting logs, performing initial triage, and documenting resolutions.
• Configure monitoring checks, alerts, and participate in backup and recovery procedures.

Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Solid understanding of Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Practical exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Understanding of containerization concepts and experience with container images.
• Scripting experience using Shell and either Python or PowerShell.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
