Junior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer who is eager to learn, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is motivated to grow and share knowledge.

What to expect:

• Work in a supportive environment for international clients

• Work closely with an experienced software developer who’ll be guiding and mentoring you

• Contribute to the team goals and work on tasks covering the design and implementation of data processing systems, data pipelines and data visualization solutions

• Actively communicate tasks, requirements, issues and open questions with your mentor, the team and the client

• Learn new technologies, attend technical and soft-skills trainings and take professional certifications

• Develop complex queries, writing DB scripts and stored procedures

• Develop new client specific reports and modifying existing ones, both pro-actively, in order to improve operational efficiencies, and in response to customer requests

• Troubleshoot and identify issues with existing reports and data by analyzing SQL and reports

Requirements

The perfect candidate meets the following:

• Solid knowledge in data modeling, data processing and data warehousing principles

• Database development skills and knowledge in SQL

• Experience with a one or more of database servers (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, etc.)

• Familiarity with data visualization tools

• Fluency in English
