Junior Data Engineer – Oracle Cloud (OCI) | International Project (Chile)

emagine Polska is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join an international project for a leading telecommunications company in Chile. You will contribute to building an enterprise Lakehouse platform on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), focusing on data modernization and large-scale cloud engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and troubleshoot data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python and Spark within OCI.
• Transform raw telecommunications data into business-ready datasets to support BI and analytics initiatives.
• Support production operations by monitoring data quality, investigating failures, and optimizing system performance.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders in Chile, participating in architecture discussions and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional experience in data projects, specifically in ingestion, transformation, or provisioning.
• Strong proficiency in Python and exposure to cloud environments, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Ability to work in alignment with the Chilean time zone, requiring availability during afternoon and evening hours.
• Conversational level of Spanish to facilitate effective communication with the international team.
• Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow within a complex cloud data ecosystem.
