Junior Data Engineer – Oracle Cloud (OCI) | International Project (Chile)

emagine Polska is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join an international project for a leading telecommunications company in Chile. You will contribute to building an enterprise Lakehouse platform on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), supporting data modernization and large-scale analytics initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and troubleshoot data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python and Spark within OCI.
• Transform raw telecommunications data into business-ready datasets to support BI and analytics.
• Support production operations by monitoring data quality, investigating failures, and optimizing performance.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders in Chile on architecture discussions and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional experience in data projects, specifically in ingestion, transformation, or provisioning.
• Strong proficiency in Python and exposure to cloud environments, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Ability to work aligned with the Chilean time zone, requiring availability during afternoon and evening hours.
• Conversational level of Spanish to facilitate effective communication within the international team.
• Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow in a cloud-based data engineering environment.
