Junior Backend Developer

ALTER GPU CENTER is looking for a motivated Junior Backend Developer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for students or individuals at the beginning of their professional career who are eager to develop their skills in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implementing and developing software based on Python, Django, and microservices technologies.
• Designing and developing robust web applications.
• Running, testing, and debugging implemented software to ensure high quality.
• Creating comprehensive unit tests and documenting source code.
• Conducting code reviews to support team collaboration and maintain high standards.

Requirements

• Practical experience with Python and the Django framework.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API design best practices.
• Experience with SQL, particularly PostgreSQL, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to technical challenges.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and clean code principles.
• English proficiency sufficient for reading technical documentation and effective communication.
