Junior Backend Developer

SolDevelo is seeking a Junior Backend Developer to join our Java Domain, a high-impact team focused on building robust backend systems. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously, gaining exposure to diverse codebases and real-world applications while leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate your development and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Navigate and contribute to various codebases, ranging from greenfield projects to legacy systems.
• Collaborate with a small team to deliver features and fixes for real-world users.
• Utilize AI-assisted development workflows to solve technical challenges efficiently.
• Gain experience with DevOps practices, including Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Java, whether through academic work, personal projects, or commercial roles.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and backend fundamentals like REST APIs and SQL.
• Ability to read, understand, and work effectively with existing codebases.
