Junior Backend Developer

PEOPLEMORE P.S.A. is a technology-focused company that builds comprehensive digital solutions for a diverse range of international clients. We are currently seeking a Junior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Accounting Engine platform in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Participate in implementing new functionalities within the Accounting Engine platform.
• Collaborate with senior developers and architects on technical solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and software quality initiatives.
• Write and maintain automated tests while applying best engineering practices.

Requirements

• Commercial experience in software development (1-3 years preferred).
• Knowledge of Kotlin or strong Java experience with a willingness to work in Kotlin.
• Understanding of Spring Boot fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and clean code.
