Java Software Engineer

CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and a trusted partner for global networking hardware providers, software companies, and telecoms. We are currently seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer to join a strategic network automation initiative focused on accelerating the onboarding of network device features into an enterprise automation platform.

Key responsibilities

• Developing backend services in Java within a complex network domain.
• Transforming network feature definitions based on XML/XPath into maintainable Java implementations.
• Integrating AI agents into development and automation processes to assist with code generation and validation.
• Building and extending APIs to support robust automation workflows.
• Ensuring high code quality through comprehensive unit and integration testing.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Java software development.
• Strong knowledge of computer networks, including switching, routing, TCP/IP, and DNS.
• Proven experience with backend systems, REST-based services, and cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of XML and XPath technologies.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools or agentic AI workflows.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
