Java Services Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled Java Services Engineer to join our international team and help build the high-performance backend systems that power our gaming experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize highly transactional, scalable, and low-latency server-side game services using Modern Java (Java 17/21+).
• Collaborate with domain experts and mathematicians to translate complex formulas into performant backend services.
• Standardize core calculation logic and business rules into reusable components.
• Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's technical growth.
• Focus on writing robust unit tests and optimizing service performance to ensure high-quality, reliable systems.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional software development experience with expert-level proficiency in Modern Java (Java 17/21+).
• Proven experience in designing, building, and optimizing distributed, high-throughput backend services.
• Strong analytical mindset with rigorous attention to detail and a passion for code optimization.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or better for effective daily collaboration.
• Familiarity with database optimization (MySQL/NoSQL) and mathematical modeling is considered a strong advantage.
