Java Engineer (Java 17/Kotlin)

Apreel is seeking an experienced Senior Back-end Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of modern, high-performance backend applications. We are looking for a professional who is confident working with modern JVM technologies and can independently contribute to the design, development, and improvement of complex backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and developing high-performance backend applications using modern JVM technologies.
• Contributing to the architectural design and improvement of existing backend systems.
• Collaborating with the team to implement scalable solutions using reactive programming patterns.
• Ensuring high code quality and adherence to modern software development principles.

Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in back-end development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Vert.x and Kotlin.
• Solid experience with Java 17 and newer versions.
• Good knowledge of Spring Boot, with a focus on WebFlux.
• Experience with Hibernate and a strong understanding of modern application architecture.
