Java Developer (regular/senior)

Job description

We are looking for a Regular/Senior Java Engineers to join the Order Management Team, where you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our client’s product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization. You will be instrumental in driving innovation and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our client’s systems.

This role requires a deep understanding of Java with a preference for experience in Golang, or at least in willingness to learn Golang and use it in a mid/long term.

We are looking for new team members to start in November/December or January. These are temporary roles planned for (minimum 6 months).

Project Duration:

6 to 9 months

📌 : After the first 3 months, you will need to join a standby/on-call rotation, which includes 24/7 availability.

• design, develop, and optimize backend services in java
• work with postgres/google spanner to design efficient data models
• ensure high availability and performance of production systems
• collaborate with devops on ci/cd, docker, kubernetes, and iac
• implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting solutions
• work in a scrum team, contributing to product roadmap delivery

You can be the perfect match for us, if you have:

• regular java developer
• 3+ years of experience in backend development with java
• good knowledge of rest apis and microservices
• solid sql skills and database optimization
• experience with ci/cd, docker, kubernetes
• familiarity with agile/scrum practices
• communicative and collaborative mindset
• senior java developer
• 7+ years of backend experience, including 3+ with java
• deep understanding of high-load, high-uptime production systems
• strong expertise in designing scalable microservices architectures
• proven ability to mentor and influence engineering best practices
• experience in technical leadership and architectural decisions
• strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex challenges

It can be love at first sight if you also have:

• knowledge of python (and optionally golang)
• experience with kafka, pub/sub or other event-driven systems
• exposure to terraform, newrelic, datadog
• hands-on with gcp/aws cloud platforms
