Java Backend Developer

emagine Polska is looking for two experienced Java Backend Developers to join their Authentication & Wallet Tribe. You will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable microservices that power core authentication and financial wallet products within a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices for core authentication and wallet products.
• Take proactive ownership of tasks and drive technical solutions independently.
• Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and product owners to manage backlogs effectively.
• Develop secure API integrations that adhere to core security standards such as OAuth.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with modern Java versions, specifically Java 21 or 25.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and the development of RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools including Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Helm.
• Solid understanding of OAuth and authentication protocols in complex systems.
• Proactive, independent mindset suitable for high-workload environments.
