Java Backend Developer

emagine Polska is looking for two experienced Java Backend Developers to join their Authentication & Wallet Tribe. You will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable microservices that power core authentication and wallet products within a dynamic, fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices for core authentication and wallet products.
• Take proactive ownership of tasks and drive technical solutions independently.
• Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and product owners to manage backlogs effectively.
• Develop secure API integrations that adhere to core security standards, specifically OAuth.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with modern Java (Java 21 / 25).
• Strong experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and authentication protocols.
• Proactive, independent mindset suitable for high-workload environments.
