IT Security Operations Analyst

Pacifica Continental is seeking a dedicated IT Security Operations Analyst to join a leading European company specializing in responsible packaging solutions. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of global IT infrastructure through proactive monitoring and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Perform real-time security log and event analysis to identify potential threats.
• Monitor security systems to prevent or reduce issues from impacting production environments.
• Conduct thorough security investigations to determine root causes, assess impact, and define remediation steps.
• Continuously improve security operations procedures and workflows.
• Report unresolved network security exposures, resource misuse, or non-compliance situations.
• Review, assess, and mitigate findings from penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT security operations and incident response.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex security logs and data.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English to effectively communicate within a global team.
