On behalf of our client, Aquila Dynamics, we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead software delivery and implementation projects for international clients. Aquila Dynamics develops Aquila Flex – a modern retail and hospitality platform supporting POS, store operations, stock management, payments, promotions, loyalty, reporting and integrations with external systems.
Responsibilities
Managing projects from kick-off through analysis, development, testing, UAT, rollout and post-go-live support.
Taking ownership of scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies and delivery commitments.
Preparing project plans, milestones, forecasts and resource needs.
Coordinating cross-functional teams, including developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, UX/UI Designers, DevOps Engineers and architects.
Acting as the main operational contact for clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
Leading project meetings and ensuring clear decisions, owners and deadlines.
Monitoring progress, resolving blockers and escalating risks early.
Managing project changes and assessing their impact on scope, timeline and budget.
Coordinating environments, releases, UAT, pilot deployments and go-live readiness.
Requirements
At least 4 years of experience in IT project management, software delivery or system implementation.
Proven experience in leading software projects from initiation to production rollout.
Practical understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks and change requests.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
Ability to understand project-level discussions about integrations, APIs, environments, data migration and releases.
Strong organizational skills and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
Experience with tools such as YouTrack, Jira, Confluence or similar.
Good knowledge of Agile delivery practices.
English at B2+ level, including the ability to independently lead meetings.
Nice to Have
Experience in retail, hospitality, POS, ERP, WMS, e-commerce or payment systems.
Experience with integrations and multi-country or multi-location rollouts.
Understanding of retail processes such as sales, returns, payments, promotions, stock management and reporting.
Experience with project estimation, capacity planning and financial monitoring.
Previous experience working remotely and coordinating distributed teams operating across different locations and time zones.
AgilePM or Professional Scrum Master certification.
