IT Project Manager -banking sector

Experis Manpower Group is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a strategic Identity & Access Management (IAM) transformation initiative for a global financial institution. In this role, you will act as a deputy to the Project Lead, coordinating complex workstreams and managing a team of specialists to ensure the successful delivery of security-focused projects within a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Lead in planning, coordinating, and delivering project activities across multiple workstreams.
• Drive progress across delivery teams, ensuring all project milestones are met on time.
• Coordinate daily stand-ups, stakeholder meetings, and project workshops to maintain alignment.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and action items while maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve overall delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong track record of managing complex projects involving cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of project governance, reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive delivery, manage competing priorities, and effectively remove project blockers.
