IT Project Management Consultant with German & English (f/m)

Volkswagen Group Services is a modern Shared Service Center providing comprehensive business support and consulting services across Europe. We are currently seeking an IT Project Management Consultant to join our dynamic Consulting department and provide functional and technical support for complex project management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate IT activities for production, logistics, and shopfloor systems during facility launches.
• Manage IT infrastructure deployments, including LAN/WLAN networks, connectivity, and industrial hardware.
• Oversee project lifecycles from testing and acceptance to operational readiness and post-go-live stabilization.
• Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and dependency lists while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders, prepare Steering Committee reports, and moderate project meetings.

Requirements

• Degree in management, economics, computer science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in industrial, manufacturing, or logistics IT projects, ideally within the automotive sector.
• Strong background as an IT project manager in a consulting environment with knowledge of agile or classical methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
• Fluent English (C1) and good German (B2) language skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
