IT Operations Specialist - Network

As an IT Operations Specialist - Network at GN Group, you will play a vital role in our Global IT Operations function, ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and security of our global infrastructure. You will join a collaborative team dedicated to designing, maintaining, and supporting the foundational technologies that keep our organization connected worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network availability and performance, supporting LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and local network equipment.
• Administer and troubleshoot Check Point firewalls, manage connectivity issues, and provide VPN support.
• Respond to incidents, perform troubleshooting, and ensure timely resolution of network errors.
• Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track system health and analyze performance trends.
• Support regular patching of network infrastructure and monitor security policies to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in IT network operations or a similar technical role.
• Proficiency in IT service management practices, including incident, problem, and request management.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and reporting solutions such as SolarWinds.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and compliance frameworks like ISO 27001.
• Excellent communication skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
