IT Operations Engineering

Finom is a rapidly growing European fintech startup on a mission to revolutionize financial management for entrepreneurs. We are looking for an IT Operations Engineer to join our team and provide exceptional technical support, ensuring our employees have the tools and access they need to succeed in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for employees via Jira Service Management and Slack, ensuring timely resolution of requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS, and software issues for both Windows and macOS devices remotely.
• Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding tasks within JumpCloud, Google Workspace, and Torii.
• Administer everyday platforms such as Jira, Confluence, and Notion while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Identify recurring technical issues and propose automations, scripts, or knowledge base articles to improve internal processes.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT support, service desk, or a similar user-facing technical role.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills for Windows and macOS environments, including network connectivity and peripherals.
• Proven track record in customer service with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• Experience with ITSM ticketing tools, MDM solutions like JumpCloud, and identity providers for SSO and MFA management.
• Excellent written documentation habits and fluency in English.
