Overview

We are seeking a Senior NetApp Storage Engineer to support a strategic storage platform replacement initiative. The role will focus on the deployment and integration of the new solution, data migration activities, technical documentation, and ensuring a secure, resilient, and operationally efficient storage environment. The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle and support teams managing unstructured data discovery, cleanup, and migration efforts.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the deployment and configuration of the new storage platform.

• Assist with solution design and technical documentation.

• Plan and execute file storage migration activities.

• Provide technical guidance during data inventory and cleanup initiatives.

• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to ensure successful delivery of the solution.

Key Requirements

• Senior experience in managing NetApp file storage solution (5+ years).

• Proficiency in NetApp file storage (CIFS and NFS) in MetroCluster setup.

• Basic AD knowledge.

• Distributed File System (DFS).

• Understanding File Shares' Security/access rights, protection against cyber threats, etc.

• Preferably experience with OPSWAT.

• Understanding backup of File Shares through NetBackup DNAS protocol.

• Understanding of IT Infrastructure/Solution Architecture.

• Understanding of DataCenter networking.

• Experience in Disaster Recovery Scenarios.

• Experience in migration file storage.

• Good to have experience with DataDobi StorageMAP.

• Proficient experience in MS Office 365.
