Eqvilent is seeking a dedicated IT Compliance Manager to evaluate our technological infrastructure and ensure full adherence to financial market regulations and data protection standards. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining high-performance levels within our quantitative trading environment by proactively identifying and addressing complex compliance issues.
Key responsibilities
- Lead major compliance projects, including ICT implementation reviews and the integration of new regulatory requirements across global markets.
- Oversee technology changes from a compliance perspective, ensuring all system developments align with regulatory technical standards such as MiFID II.
- Collaborate closely with technology teams to embed robust compliance controls directly into system architecture and the development lifecycle.
- Act as a primary compliance liaison, managing regulatory inquiries and presenting compliance metrics to key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by professional certifications like CISA, CRISC, or ISO/IEC 27001.
- Strong background in ICT governance, control frameworks, and technology audit processes within electronic trading environments.
- Proven ability to interpret complex global regulations and apply them effectively to high-frequency trading operations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities independently.
