IT / Data Analyst

ALTEN Polska is a world leader in engineering and IT services, currently seeking a skilled IT/Data Analyst to join our team. We are looking for a professional with a strong technical background to support our data management initiatives and contribute to complex projects within the banking and finance sector.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the completion of a data catalog with detailed metadata descriptions for tables and columns.
• Reviewing complex banking system documentation to extract and organize relevant metadata.
• Collaborating closely with system analysts and stakeholders to gather missing information and ensure data accuracy.
• Profiling and analyzing data stored in specific columns to maintain high data quality standards.
• Engaging in regular communication with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as an IT or Data Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in database systems including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to analyze information from diverse systems and manage technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
• Preferred experience in the financial sector and knowledge of data modeling or GenAI solutions.
