IT & Automation Engineer

Centrifuge is at the forefront of real-world asset tokenization, building open infrastructure that has already crossed $1.7B in TVL. We are seeking a hands-on IT & Automation Engineer to manage our internal systems, identity, and cloud operations, with a primary mandate to automate repetitive tasks and improve our operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage user access and identity across our SaaS stack, including Google Workspace, GitHub, and 1Password.
• Automate user lifecycle management and internal workflows using Terraform, Python, or Slack API integrations.
• Administer our cloud infrastructure on GCP and Cloudflare, handling routine deployments and CI/CD pipeline maintenance.
• Support security operations by managing hardware keys, conducting access reviews, and ensuring compliance with high-security standards.
• Create and maintain operational documentation and runbooks to ensure repeatable and scalable processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or IT operations within a tech-focused environment.
• Proven ability to write automation scripts in Python, Go, JS, or Bash to eliminate manual work.
• Hands-on experience managing workloads on public cloud providers, with strong Linux/Unix fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of Git, GitHub, and CI/CD concepts, alongside experience administering identity platforms.
• Excellent written English and a process-oriented mindset with a focus on documentation.
