Ionic Developer (Remote)

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Consultant with deep expertise in cross-platform development using IONIC (Angular) for a project in the Aviation & Booking industry.

The focus of this role is to ensure outstanding performance, seamless user experience (UX) within complex checkout flows, and the integration of third-party systems and hardware-level mobile APIs.

Functional & Domain Responsibilities
·      Booking Journey Optimization: Conception, implementation, and refactoring of highly performant, multi-step checkout forms (including flight search, seat selection, ancillaries like baggage/catering, and payment flows).
·      State Management & Data Consistency: Ensuring robust and error-free data flow across complex booking steps using state management patterns (e.g., NgRx or RxJS). This includes handling offline capabilities for retrieving mobile tickets/boarding passes during network drops.
·      API & System Integration: Connecting airline-specific APIs (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, NDC interfaces) as well as secure payment gateways (Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit cards) within the mobile container.

Web & Framework Expertise (Must-Have)
·      Angular & TypeScript: Deep knowledge of modern Angular architectures, routing, reactive programming (RxJS), and state management (NgRx).
·      Core Web Technologies: Deep understanding of HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS (using Flexbox and CSS Grid) for pixel-perfect, highly responsive UI implementations.
·      Performance Tuning: Proven track record of optimizing render times, minimizing DOM size, and reducing loading times to maximize checkout conversion rates.
Cross-Platform & Mobile Specifics
·      IONIC Framework: Extensive, practical experience using IONIC and proven track record in several projects
Methodology & Soft Skills
·      Security Awareness: Solid understanding of modern e-commerce and mobile security standards (including PCI-DSS compliance for transactions and secure local data storage).
·      Consulting & Advisory Skills: Ability to effectively advise clients on technical trade-offs between web-based behaviors and native mobile experiences.
·      Agile Mindset: Practical experience working in agile product teams (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) and collaborating on mobile-focused CI/CD build pipelines.

·      Capacitor / Cordova (Nice-to-Have): Experience implementing and configuring plugins for native device features (e.g., camera for passport scanning, biometrics for secure login, and push notifications).
