Internship / Working Student Finance (m/f/x)

Virtual Identity is seeking a motivated Intern or Working Student to join our Finance team. You will play a key role in supporting our daily financial operations while actively contributing to the development and integration of AI-powered tools to modernize our internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle preparatory bookkeeping tasks, including document capture, account coding, and verification of accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with account reconciliations, travel expense reporting, and support for monthly and annual closing procedures.
• Contribute to ERP implementation, data migration, and the maintenance of master data.
• Perform budget planning, forecasting, KPI reporting, and liquidity management through detailed ad-hoc analyses.
• Develop and test innovative AI-driven tools for financial use cases, including reporting dashboards and automated planning solutions.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a degree program related to Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in numbers and financial data management.
• Curiosity regarding artificial intelligence and a desire to explore how AI can optimize modern financial workflows.
• Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and communicate effectively within a remote team environment.
• Proficiency in standard office software and a willingness to learn new ERP and data visualization tools.
