Internship - Software Asset Management

Hitachi Energy Services is seeking a motivated and ambitious intern to join our Software Asset Management team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global IT environment while contributing to key initiatives that support our mission of advancing a sustainable energy future.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the SAM team to support daily operational activities and maintain software asset policies.
• Utilize SAM tools to monitor software license compliance and generate detailed reports.
• Manage the collection, validation, and upload of Proof of Entitlement documentation into the system.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of the company's Software Asset Management strategy.
• Help enforce controls aligned with the Hitachi IT Control Framework to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a university student with an expected graduation date in 2027 or later.
• Fluent in written and spoken English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, well-organized, and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
• Available to work at least 30 hours per week.
• Genuine interest in developing knowledge in IT governance, compliance, and asset management.
