Intellectual Property Counsel (Poland/Remote)

We are looking for an experienced Intellectual Property Counsel to join our team and play a vital role in securing and defending our company's intellectual property assets on a global scale.

Key responsibilities

• Identify the need for new filings of trademarks, designs, and patents in IP offices worldwide.
• Perform freedom to operate analyses for new IP applications and coordinate global filings.
• Guide outside counsel in preparing responses to office actions regarding trademarks, patents, designs, and copyrights.
• Collaborate with technical teams to collect and safeguard new patenting ideas.
• Monitor legislative changes in the IP area and provide training and advice to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Qualified patent attorney or a university degree in Law, with a specialization in Intellectual Property law being an advantage.
• Education, certification, or experience in computer science, engineering, or other technical fields.
• At least 5 years of professional experience with IP in the private or public sector.
• In-depth knowledge of IP law and a genuine passion for the field.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and a strong interest in the IT environment.
