Infrastructure Engineer - Ruby on Rails/AWS/Kubernetes

Square One Resources is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a team working on a large-scale mobility platform. You will contribute to a comprehensive taxi service system designed for high availability, scalability, and reliable real-time operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions, internal tooling, and autoscaling mechanisms to support system growth.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability through proactive infrastructure management.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and development workflows to streamline engineering processes.
• Maintain and optimize applications running in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot infrastructure challenges and improve overall system stability.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Ruby development and application architecture.
• Practical, hands-on experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Solid knowledge of containerization technologies, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proven experience with database optimization and performance tuning techniques.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work effectively across both application code and infrastructure layers.
