Infrastructure Architect

Job description:

As a Infrastructure Architect, you empower customers to get their hands on top-notch cloud,on-premise and hybrid architectural solutions. In this role, on the one hand you will be the go-to person for our customers by showcasing how cloudatus can help them build success, and on the other act as the voice of the customer by driving their insights into engineering. 

At cloudatus, you will: 

• create prototypes and Proof of Concepts in line with the group architecture and customer requirements 

• implement new architectural approaches while working closely with the team by driving partnerships with the appropriate internal teams/resources 

• design strategies, migrate systems and develop IT architecture operating in an on-premises environment and based on public cloud 

• analyse and address business and technical requirements, to propose the best solutions 

• create conceptual and design documentation (High-Level Design and Low-Level Design) 

• oversee implementation projects, ensuring technical blockers are removed by sharing ideas, insights, and strategic, technical input 

Required technical and professional expertise: 

• solid knowledge of IT architecture and infrastructure design 

• understanding of systems integration concept 

• able to take a personalized, solution-based approach to customer needs 

• persistent, analytical, customer-centric and demonstrating a results-oriented mindset 

• proficiency in at least 3 out of the 7 areas/technologies listed below: public cloud (Azure or AWS, or GCP), Windows or Linux operating systems, network solutions (preferably SD-WAN and Zero Trust concepts), virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V or Proxmox), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, 

• advisory and budget-conscious management of client investments in infrastructure and licensing, taking into account CAPEX/OPEX allocation

This role requires collaboration with customers from all around the world, therefore fluency in English is required (minimum B2 level).
