In-House Counsel

micro1 is seeking a seasoned In-House Counsel to join a pioneering team at the forefront of legal AI development. Key responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and complex redlining exercises to test system capabilities.
• Review and assess AI-generated responses to various contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to enhance model performance and precision.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and rigorous grading criteria to assess AI performance on legal tasks.
• Collaborate closely with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of in-house legal experience with a focus on technology transactions, including MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate complex legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Experience working effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
