Image/Payload Processing Engineer

Creotech Instruments S.A. is seeking a skilled Image/Payload Processing Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining advanced software solutions for space-related projects, focusing on end-to-end satellite image processing pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based pipelines for multispectral, hyperspectral, and SAR Earth observation data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure successful delivery of complex space projects.
• Provide technical expertise in remote sensing, payload calibration, and geospatial technologies.
• Investigate and integrate new satellite sensors and processing techniques into our existing technology stack.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in Remote Sensing, Geomatics, Optics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with satellite or aerial image-processing workflows from RAW to L2A.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and scripting.
• Strong understanding of remote sensing concepts, including image calibration, georeferencing, and spectral resolution.
• Ability to work independently within a fully remote, distributed team environment.
