Image / Payload Processing Engineer

CREOTECH INSTRUMENTS S.A. is a leading company in the space sector, specializing in satellite platforms and advanced measurement systems. We are looking for an Image / Payload Processing Engineer to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge space projects, including the development of satellite image processing pipelines for Earth observation data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based end-to-end satellite image processing pipelines for multispectral, hyperspectral, and SAR data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, propose technical solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical support and share expertise in remote sensing, geospatial technologies, and payload calibration.
• Evaluate system and payload performance to translate technical capabilities into product requirements.
• Investigate new satellite sensors and processing techniques to incorporate modern approaches into our processing stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Remote Sensing, Geomatics, Optics, Physics, or a related field, with 2+ years of professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with satellite or aerial image-processing pipelines and multispectral/hyperspectral data.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end image-processing workflows, including calibration, validation, and georeferencing.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, data processing, and automation, alongside a strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
