Human Resources Manager

Solon Capital Partners is an Africa-focused investment manager dedicated to economic development and poverty reduction. We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to support people and organizational initiatives across our firm and its diverse portfolio companies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, contracts, and policy management across Solon and portfolio companies.
• Work directly with leadership teams to support hiring, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing to the integration of new hires.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and coordinate with Employer of Record providers for international staff.
• Implement and maintain HR systems to track workforce data and provide reporting to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of HR experience, preferably within fast-growing or entrepreneurial environments.
• Proven ability to manage recruitment and core HR operations independently.
• Familiarity with HR platforms such as BambooHR and experience working with international teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively across multiple business units.
